From the airport, the drive is 20 minutes long. follow the exit signs to wellington city. this is state highway one. at the corner of buckle and taranaki streets, turn right and follow this road for approximately 200 metres north. turn left into jervois quay. follow jervois quay north for approximately two kilometres. this road becomes customhouse quay. turn left into ballance street. the wellesley in on the left-hand side of ballance street.

• the railway station is only a 10-15 minute walk from nomads capital altenatively buses will leave the station up to courtenay place regularly. get of the bus at the bottom of cuba st which will only cost $1.
• from the ferry-
• there is a free shuttle that leaves the interislander terminal to the railway station when every sailing gets in, from the lynx or bluebridge terminals you can just cross the road to the railway station. then you can either walk or take any bus that is going past courtenay place and get off at the bottom of cuba st.
